Douglas M. Semenick

Douglas M. Semenick is an international management consultant, corporate trainer, and vice president of Semenick and Associates, Inc. Since founding Semenick and Associates, Inc. in 1990, he has designed, customized and presented over 2,000 training seminars and workshops for a variety of industries including several Fortune 500 companies.

Doug provides consulting in the areas of curriculum, program development and evaluation. He has been Lead Consultant for program development and evaluation for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  He has authored 30 professional journal articles, 20 training manuals and co-authored one book. Doug is from Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis and two masters degrees (M.S., M.Ed.) from the University of Louisville and a doctorate degree in education Ed.D. (abd) from the University of Kentucky.

Doug began his professional career as a high school biology teacher. He spent 13 years as a college instructor and coach at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and the University of Louisville where he was on the staff of the 1986 NCAA National Basketball Champions.He was voted National Coach of the Year in 1988. He managed the award-winning University of Louisville Health and Wellness Program for five years.

National Speaker's AssosiationDoug is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is a 1993 graduate of Leadership Louisville. Doug has a wife, Carolyn, six children, and is active in Scouting, Toastmasters and physical training.
