Douglas M. Semenick

Douglas M. Semenick founded Semenick and Associates, Inc. in 1990. He is a Certified Professional Speaker, Management Consultant, Executive Coach, and author. He has designed and presented over 2,000 training workshops for a variety of industries worldwide including several of the Fortune 500 companies. He has authored 30 professional journal articles, 42 leadership, management, and teambuilding courses, and co-authored one book. He is recognized by his peers as an expert in Leadership Training and Management Team Coaching.

Doug earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis and two Masters Degrees (M.S., M.Ed.) from the University of Louisville.

Doug began his professional career as a high school biology teacher. He has 13 years of experience as a college instructor, football and basketball coach at Temple University and the University of Louisville in Kentucky where he was on the staff of the 1986 NCAA National Basketball Champions.

Doug was voted by his peers; National Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 1987. He also managed the award-winning University of Louisville Health and Wellness Program for five years.

Doug is a member of the National Speakers Association where he has achieved the Certified Speaking Professional designation which is recognized as being in the top five percent of professional speakers world-wide. Doug is also a Gallup Certified Leadership Strengths Coach. He is a Past-President of the Kentucky Speakers Association and a graduate of Leadership Louisville.

Doug is married (Carolyn), has six adult children and seven grandchildren.
